Thickness and Additional Information
All wood medallions, decos, and focal accents are supplied with a 5/16" hardwood wear layer. Thicknesses greater than 5/16" are mounted to a Baltic birch substrate for a 3/8" to 3/4" overall thickness. Call our customer service team at 920-582-9977 or email us to order a custom thickness to match your field floor.
Prefinished Medallions
Any mounted medallion 48" or less in thicknesses greater than 5/16" may be prefinished. Oshkosh Designs uses a low VOC, water-based, semi-gloss finish with a 50% sheen level. Prefinish is an additional charge. Prefinished items are not refundable.
Installation
All wood medallions up to 60" and decos are supplied with a free router bit, custom fit template and installation instructions. Mounted wood decos and medallions up to 60" will also be supplied with adhesive.
Shipping
All Oshkosh Designs products are entirely handmade and will be manufactured per the customer’s specifications. Orders are handcrafted upon processing and ship within 5-10 business days. Shipping dates are estimated based on the size and complexity of each design. You will receive an email notification with a tracking number once your order ships. We encourage you to wait until you receive your product before scheduling installation. Any wood product must be acclimated to the relative moisture level of the job site prior to installation. We recommend the product be unboxed and allowed to sit (at site, but not on concrete) for at least one week.

EXPERT TIPS
- Coordinate wood species and coloring with other wood in the area.
- When placing a medallion keep in mind ceiling lights and center using a plumb line for accuracy.
- Mockup the size of the medallion using chalk or painters’ tape in the area you are considering.
- Surround the medallion with field flooring uncovered by furniture or features helps to accent it.
- Once you receive the medallion, place on the floor where you planned, arrange the furniture and leave it for a few days to confirm the location.
