We Are a Zero Waste Design & Manufacturing Facility

Oshkosh Designs is committed to being stewards for the environment. We are proud that our design and manufacturing center is a 100% zero waste facility. We achieve this by recycling sawdust from our manufacturing process to repurpose for local farmers near Winneconne, Wisconsin to use.

Our lumber is purchased from FSC certified suppliers, proving that the wood we source is responsibly harvested. Our inlay wear layers are 5/16″ thick to conserve hardwood yet provide more than enough surface for refinishing if needed. For the health and safety of our customers and employees, all of our products are in compliance with the California Air Resource Board/CARB compliant. We utilize a water-based prefinish to minimize VOC emissions for our environment and customers’ health. We also use 85% post-consumer waste glass within our products. Lastly, Oshkosh Designs uses reclaimed wood flooring materials on projects whenever appropriate.
